My parents hired a professional to observe me for a day in the classroom without me knowing. Then that person recommended I be tested. I took about 3 tests over the course of a few days. Then went to see a psychiatrist and was finally diagnosed. Now it seems like anyone who says they have trouble concentrating is diagnosed and given pills.
