I'd like something as good as Android JellyBean but for notebooks. I hate Windows 8, not big on OS X either.

- quink 14y agoAndroid runs on x86 too. In theory, at least :|
- josteink 14y agoNot just theory. You can have x86 builds if you like. I know, because I ran it on my Netbook.
- amitdugar 14y agoCheck out http://www.android-x86.org/ http://www.android-x86.org/ From the site : This is a project to port Android open source project to x86 platform, formerly known as "patch hosting for android x86 support".
- amitdugar 14y agoHave you tried Linux ? There are a lot of flavors to choose from. Ubuntu is really popular for Desktops but there are others.
- yareally 14y agoIf you want something similar to the Windows 7 UI wise, but running Linux, run KDE on top of whatever distro you choose. Some come with it already like Kubuntu (Ubuntu OS + KDE) or Gentoo. If you're looking for something completely different, there's always Ubuntu's fork of Gnome (Unity), which is Ubuntu's default desktop. There'a also Gnome 3 as well as XFCE and some others.
