- beck5 14y agoDoes this mean Hipache is likely to be dead in a couple of years?
- shykes 14y agoWhat are you referring to by "this"?
- beck5 14y agoWhat looks to be the next step which is nginx and lua based.
- ARothfusz 14y agoPretty cool, huh? :-) You can follow (and contribute to!) that development in the open source project, just like you can with the Node version of hipache.
- shykes 14y agoI would agree with Arothfusz, think of it as a hint at a possible future version of Hipache. It might use Nginx/Lua as a runtime instead of Nodejs - but the redis-based architecture will be the same and there will be an upgrade path. It will still be Hipache.
- luney 14y agoForgive me for not reading the entire thing. I searched the text for HTTPS and SSL and it found nothing. So dotcloud can load balance WSS (SSL websockets) right? And on a custom domain?
- ARothfusz 14y agoYes, wherever we run hipache. That can include for custom domains.
