Didn't Ms. Ortiz argue that she cannot comment on Swartz's case because of the respect to his family? And now his own husband breaks the silence? Isn't this all superficial and for their own profit? So, here was a trade: 6-months in a jail for breaking Swartz's own sense of what is good and what is not, something he believed in the most, free knowledge. Obviously, this was out of question for Swartz. He simply couldn't agree for it! I admire Swartz even more for doing what he did. He did not have any other options left, as he symbolically writes in his last post about Dark Knight.
