- SquareWheel 14y agoI'm sorry, but merging with a company doesn't make you a cofounder of that company. You were not there when it was founded, thus it's not an applicable label. I'm just asking for a title correction, not trying to slander the guy.
- argumentum 14y agoNot the place for this argument.
- SquareWheel 14y agoDo quit it with the high and mighty attitude. I've made it very clear I'm not attempting to slander anybody, just clearing up a misconception. When you allow misinformation it will spread, and that shouldn't be acceptable.
- argumentum 14y agoIt's not so clear as you claim. It's disputed, and there are arguments both ways, as "reddit" was part of another company, "not a bug", which was the result of the merger w/infogami. Nonetheless I did not mean to appear "high and mighty", but that there are other threads regarding the reddit situation.
- rdl 14y agoIt depends on the terms agreed during the merger. Elon Musk and Peter Thiel (and a bunch of other people from each of X.com and Confinity) are considered members of the set of PayPal founders, for instance.
- wglb 14y agoAccording to Paul Graham, that was the agreement and that Aaron was not wrong in calling himself cofounder.
