The plan is to charge users money to message folks outside of their friends list, not monetize two friends chatting.
- jonknee 14y agoAt the moment. Previously this $100 per message scheme would also have seemed nuts. FB is under immense pressure to live up to its valuation, I expect these sorts of unsettling money grabs to continue for quite some time.
