I'm curious if an app like this could have gotten traction if it wasn't put out by a shop like Fog Creek. In other words, if some guy built this in his basement, would anybody have noticed, no matter how great?
- bemmu 14y agoI imagine fame would give you an initial boost, but it would be only temporary without a really good product. The growth curve might look similar to a non-famous developer, but just start at an earlier point on the curve.
