Ask HN: Last minute, unplanned meetups

Hello! I'm in SF, and plans for this evening changed at the last minute. Even if they hadn't I'm often a pretty spontaneous person, and want to do things at the last minute.. It seems though that every other event site is based around planning a few days in advance. Are there any services that let me say, "ok I want to do something now with other new people"?
