I love Font Awesome, thanks to all the contributors!! One of the first things I replace from Bootstrap is the dependence on png icon sprites.
Bootstrap 3 and Font Awesome 3 should just marry each other and get it over with.
- Yaggo 14y agoBootstrap should include vector icons by default. In the era of HiDPI displays, bitmap icons look just plain ugly (unless served in double resolution). Nobody should use them. (Not to mention save of bandwith!)
- tensafefrogs 14y agoBootstrap 3 is switching to glyphicon fonts, which I think look better than the FontAwesome stuff. http://blog.getbootstrap.com/2012/12/10/bootstrap-3-plans/ http://blog.getbootstrap.com/2012/12/10/bootstrap-3-plans/ You can see the bootstrap 3 branch in the bootstrap github project.
