One guideline for passwords isnt exicitly mentioned here which is that passwords should be kept secret. People are bad at keeping secrets and there are many reasonable justifications for sharing your password with a trusted friend. Passwords proved identity only if secrecy is assumed. Who is responsible/suffers more if I share my passwords, me or the system administrator?
