What happens when the avionics hears intermodulation distortion?
What instruments would/could be (or are) affected by signals from consumer electronics devices?
- dhimes 14y agoOn modern aircraft, not just the cockpit electronics but the flight controls themselves. They are no longer cables, they are electronic (rudders, etc.). If you fly a smaller/older plane (I flew a cessna earlier this month) they don't have the same "off" requirement. "Airplane" mode is fine.
