I tend to agree, and it's not because of the info products themselves, but because it appears to be so calculated. Nobody wants to see themselves as the target of a sales funnel. It's also slightly contradictory with the hacker culture, where unlike say 'make money online bloggers,' hackers tend to share for free. That isn't to say that selling information is wrong or harmful, it's just different than it used to be.
