- minimaxir 6d ago-2 If OpenAI and Anthropic go bankrupt like everyone romanticizes, it will just lead to a market contraction, not a bubble burst. Those two are not the only AI players.
- saidnooneever 6d agoagreed. i think it might get bad if there is devices in everyones hands to run this stuff themselves (oss models in cheapo local apps etc ) then those AI players cant sell anything anymore since they rely on people using their services for getting money. i think they would try to prevent such a scenario and what do you know, device prices are through the roof even though the vendors of said devices have never earned or sold more...
