Where the physical economy is being built: 10k planned projects worldwide
- gts_nesov 17d agoI am building this since almost 2 years. This project covers 140+ countries and accounts for roughly 60% of global's GDP in terms of infra investments (CapEx). The objective is dual: - to predict where the industrial world is going - help people (ex: by inferring where hiring may grow) & companies benefit from it 90%+ of the projects listed are expected to be completed after 2026. In that sense, it is a map of the physical economy's future. All infrastructure projects are visible to anyone (no paywall to see the projects) Each column on map is one planned infrastructure project: height shows CapEx and color helps distinguish investment size Who could use it: Logistics: spot where future freight demand may emerge Site selection: identify growing industrial areas Real estate: find where demand for land and warehouses may increase Suppliers: find large projects that may need their products Investors: see where industrial capital is concentrating Interactive Map: https://fluidify.org/map?layer=capex https://fluidify.org/map?layer=capex Anyone wanting to collaborate is welcomed.
