This was sensibly limited to positive integers in $native_currency. If I entered 99999999999999, I would get something close to £32,000 per week, suggesting they were using a signed 16-bit int. There was also a button to quickly offer an employee a new 'improved' contract, with something like 1.05x their existing pay.
