If they try to avoid paying the full price, this will simply be stopped by the courts. If they do this the proper, legal way it will be far too expensive and not do anything useful.
Affordable housing is a very important topic, but this isn't doing anything to fix the current issue.
- aniviacat 13d agoWhy would it be stopped by the courts? The constitution explicitly allows expropriation for the public good. It also explicitly says the compensation amount shall account for the interests of the public. (GG Article 14 Point 3)
