The social contracts for taxis and hotels like most sucked anyway. They were in the best case socialism and in the worst case communism. We need more freedom, not less.
Though based on what I've heard it's ironic that nowadays Uber is mostly just like a plain old taxi company. Gone are the days of "ride sharing" when you could make some extra bucks if you wanted to.
- Forgeties79 13d agoIt was only good for drivers for a very, very brief period. They were the first group squeezed before they started squeezing the riders.
- ciupicri 13d agoSo I've heard, but it's irrelevant. I don't care about Uber, AirBnB etc; less regulation, more freedom and more options are good.
- Forgeties79 13d ago>more freedom You can’t be serious with all this “commies bad freedom good” talk.
- ciupicri 13d agoWhat are you trying to say, that in reality communism is good and freedom is bad? :-) I'll admit that I've simplified things quite a bit.
- Forgeties79 13d agoNo, I’m saying you’re resorting to McCarthyism/red scare emotional appeals.
