this is a test of the ability to solarize under disaster conditions, of which there is a great interest in seeing Cuba achive not just internaly but as a model for global de-carbonisation and also the political objective of the destruction of the petro dollar by many of americas foes, and former or semi allies.
the only people rooting for Cuban and other countrys to fail are those who are cruel, mindlessly greedy, and fully invested in the
FORMER status quo, and have no way to hold there power and wealth durring the switch to non hydro carbon energy.
keep in mind that the latest pv panels going into production now are yielding 1000watts per panel @$250/each, which works out to $250k/megawatt, with essentialy zero maintenance costs over 30+ year service lives, and you can farm food under them.
the end of scarcity is nigh.
