- tomjakubowski 12d agoOn the other hand it's a nice thing that "kein" and "nein" are different words.
- sajithdilshan 12d agoDon’t forget keinen/keiner/keinem/keines as well
- gwuah 12d agodutch also has 3 articles: de/het(definite) & een(indefinite); and there is an entire chain of rules that largely(99%) do nothing for semantics besides track that arbitrary distinction. for example: there are 2 ways of saying [this](deze,dit) and 2 ways of saying [that](die, dat). not sure how gender-classes entered languages but they can be a pain!
