Italy tried to get the path from complaint to takedown to under 30 minutes which necessarily involves absolutely no judicial oversight. This resulted in them taking down things like Cloudflare, Google Drive, and the Italian government.

This sounds more like Cloudflare and Google Drive are harboring pirates. There should be similar takedown processes and having suspicious accounts separated onto distinct IPs from higher trusted ones to avoid actions like this affecting non pirates.

    Go design and implement that system. A whole country couldn't. Remember you have to respect rule of law, that means no wiretapping without a warrant.

      The system already exists. It's called email and these ISPs already have abuse emails they respond to. You don't need a wiretap to know that 123moviesclone.su is hosting pirated content. You can simply visit it and tell in 2 seconds.

        Okay. The IP address is cloudflare. What should the ISP do about it. Block IP address or block DNS, those are the options?

        Block the Cloudflare IP it's on if Cloudflare does not act on the abuse complaint.

        Ok you have blocked half the internet in your country - including its own government. Does this make you more or less popular with voters? The libertarian party promises to end the stupid internet blocking, will they win the next election?
