I can't wait until someone tries to corner the market, holds a shitton of future onions, the onions go bad and the market implodes showing that future contracts on perishable items is generally a bad idea.
- dnautics 7d agoFuture contracts on perishable items are executed all the time.
- chadgpt6 7d agoThat's half the reason we have futures contracts. If they were only on nonperishable goods you could just buy the goods and store them in a warehouse. Futures contracts allow you to do something similar with perishables.
