I'm Aksh, a student developer from India, and I built Quokka — a programming language designed as a potential Python alternative for AI/ML. https://quokka.space/ https://quokka.space/ Quokka is self-hosting, with its compiler capable of compiling itself. It also includes bootstrap verification through quokka check-self, immutable-by-default variables, Result/Option-style error handling, and Python/ML interoperability through JSON IPC. I've also successfully used Quokka for QLoRA training with a 1B-parameter model. The goal isn't to replace Python overnight. It's to explore what an AI/ML-oriented language could look like if the language, tooling, and ML workflow were designed together from the beginning.
