During conflict, which side is winning or losing is usually counted in number of body bags sent home. These tend to influence voters tremendously. Anything to tell a good story on that front.

- _doctor_love 16d agoHaving enough soldiers alive with said will is usually a pretty important factor too.
- vkou 16d ago58,000 US and 230,000 south vietnamese soldiers died during the Vietnam war. Over 500,000 PAVN/VC soldiers died. Who lost the will to fight, and the war? Wars tend to end long before one side runs out of men between the ages of 13 and 73.
