Worst marketing ever. ngrok had a similar slogan:
something like - "We help you put localhost on the Internet."
What could possibly go wrong?
- m00x 12d agoHow many ways can you convey doing the same thing? All the banks out there have almost identical slogans because they do very similar things.
- hashstring 12d agoHm, yeah, depends who you’re marketing this to. Also, the “0 ports opened” marketing is misleading. It still binds to a port and then also lets people access your resources over it. I dislike that Cloudflare Engineering has become more… marketingy as of late. Also with their Cloudflare OS misnomer. Their products used to make more sense, what happened?

- hashstring 11d agoNo, marketing is about communicating valuable offers. Misleading communication is what I am describing, that is a subset of all communications.
