Copying isn't stealing you babies
- drstewart 8d agoI remember when this was the prevailing thinking online until about 2024. But that's when everyone was trying to justify their own piracy of GTA or whatever. Suddenly, they don't like other people pirating.
- winstonwinston 8d agoImo copying (like carbon copy) makes it fair compared to taking it (without attribution) and claiming it yours. For example, for software I usually use MIT license, which is a permissive license with attribution.
