Canadians aren’t going to vote for the reduced wages and worse conditions which several million EU workers will come with. This whole rhetoric is treating Canadians as if they’re metropolitan and worldly when for the most part a good 50% of them are like Americans but even more protectionist and insular, IMO.
- gls2ro 17d agoNone of these two partners benefit from mass migration because both of them actually need more workers. Also a trade partnership is not a zero sum game. Can also be that everybody will benefit by more trade, more cooperation and more exchanges for young people.
