I'd love if my EU passport allowed me work and living rights in Canada
- _ink_ 16d agoThat's what I meant with freedom of worker movement, not sure what's the correct term is.
- gizajob 16d agoCanadians aren’t going to vote for the reduced wages and worse conditions which several million EU workers will come with. This whole rhetoric is treating Canadians as if they’re metropolitan and worldly when for the most part a good 50% of them are like Americans but even more protectionist and insular, IMO.
- gls2ro 16d agoNone of these two partners benefit from mass migration because both of them actually need more workers. Also a trade partnership is not a zero sum game. Can also be that everybody will benefit by more trade, more cooperation and more exchanges for young people.
