TLDR there is no threat mentioned in the article Someone else told her she can fix it with help of local comunity and if she doesn't fix it, they will publish facts about her AI usage. Judging by logic of some commenters if journalist ask someone questions, give them time to reply to give them opportunity to present their views and later publish it without them not meeting the deadline is now considered a threat. Btw. I am also sick of AI slop everywhere in magazines, ads, etc., so if I can choose with my wallet whether I spend my money in AI slop shop or shop not using AI, it's easy choice.
