This has nothing to do with Ruby or Rails. Setting a proper HTML encoding (UTF-8) would fix it.

- espadrine 14y agoAnother way to phrase this is that DHH forgot to add <meta charset="utf-8" /> Beyond that, the expression isn't "á la carte". It comes from the french "à la carte" (grave accent, not acute).
