I completely agree, I’ve considered getting a new car as mine is approaching 10 years old, and I’ve been interested in an ev, but holy shit the options in the US are awful. Also my current car is a wagon, with a massive aftermarket ecosystem, and overall fun to drive. If there was a compelling wagon ev option that wasn’t plagued by the issues you highlighted, and offered some form of ability to tune, I’d be all over it, but at this point I’ll just drive my current car into the ground.
