Maybe this is a naive statement, but it seems like full membership including open borders between Canada and other EU states and adoption of the Euro would also be beneficial to everyone involved.
The UK should continue to be embarrassed and ashamed to leave such an incredible institution, although at this point we can say that they clearly don’t deserve the EU anyway.
- gizajob 1mo agoYes but someone will need to step in and adjudicate once everyone in Europe has enough of living in the United States of Germany and there’s another war over it.
- Grombobulous 1mo agoIs that happening? The EU is the most desirable citizenship/passport in the world.

- Grombobulous 1mo agoMoved the goalposts from “it’s bad now” to “wait and see in the future it’ll be bad.” I might as well say that people in the Netherlands can’t keep up riding their bicycles much longer because they’ll get tired of it.

- gizajob 1mo agoI do have some respect for it, because I’m from the actual 1000 year reich. I’ll congratulate them if they can get to 100 without falling apart. They only made it to about 12 years last time.
