- verdverm 17d agoHow do they have some things that are more advanced than the rest of the world, like EV batteries? The tropes are tiresome, reeks of hubris and bigotry Where do you think the United States gets all its chips? We certainly do not know how to print them ourselves nearly as well as the Dutch and Taiwanese, probably the Chinese too. Are we not relying on other countries for R&D across a number of industries? Is there something bad about sharing advancements at the global scale. blowing out other's candles does not make yours burn brighter
