The straight of Gibraltar is 10km and barely any Europeans have anything more than superficial knowledge about North-African cultures.
- jiggawatts 19d agoThe closest land to PNG in Australia is nearly uninhabited. Northern Queensland may as well be on the Moon. Cape York Peninsula has a population of only 18,000 people! Northern Alaska has significantly more, as a point of comparison.
