I wonder how well fex will work with older 2d-3d games before, say, 2003, of the PS2/Xbox era and earlier, and whether controling mouse pointer is viable using the default controller. For me personally steam frame would be worth it if only for running these kinds of games on a large virtual screen, watching movies and intermittently using it as a linux computer (with a limitation that text is likely not readable if the screen is comparable with Quest 3). And some VR native apps like Alyx. Basically the stuff that Steam Deck already does save for all the new games (which run worse and worse with each year anyway)
