They're all in Australia by my estimation
- anenefan 17d agoNot in Australia [1] :) but loss of insects has been observed globally for a few years. [2] Each year in my locale - Central North Queensland, we've observed less and less insects around the lights at night, less waves of seasonal beetles ... apart from flying ants, it's been about 2 years or more since I've experienced a period where the nights brought a gathering, albeit small in number of little moths. If only mosquitoes and horse flies in my parts would go the same way ... but that's probably all the little birds and bats are living on.
