Semi-related but I'm ignorant: when did Apple change to use a universal version number? Is it just for the public, like how Windows 11 is actually NT 10.0? I can't believe I missed the HN discussion on this one.
- al_borland 18d agoLast year. They started basing it off the release year with 26. Though it comes a little early, kind of like the model year of a car.
