That's why the article addresses the problem of AI using someone's credit card and not an issue that effects people like the unbanked.
- fortran77 12d agoaffects Yes, a person who is unbanked wouldn't need or be able to use this product, as well as 90% of any other product talked about on Hacker News, or in the Wall Street Journal, or in the New York Times. Does every piece need a statement lamenting the plight of the unbanked?
- brudgers 11d agoThe Atlantic’s historical reputation is for its bold anti-slavery stance, muck-raking journalism, and literary bent. It abandoned that history when Jobs purchased it. Your argument from authority was based on referencing the magazine’s grand history. A product placement advertorial for a Silicon Valley startup shows how far it has fallen. And the nature of your defense is misplaced though understandable.
