It isn't my Brother. The subject is a relatively new laserprinter: Brother DCP-L2622DW. My own Brother is an older inktjet, and I am pretty sure I could get that to work with CUPS/SANE, but yes. I'd use such device for such purpose as well. The laserprinter was a terrible purchase, since new toners aren't much cloned yet, and superexpensive.
