Bankrupting a whole, large national economy is a bit trickier than boycotting a company.
I mean, someone like Trump is probably capable of doing it from the inside, but Korea's educational standards are too high to elect him...

I don't remember how many years ago that was, but it's not like their education prevented the situation.
