A UK-based flight deals service aimed specifically at parents who can only travel during term-time.
Having this issue myself now with two children whereby flight prices double going into school holiday season, I have always wanted some kind of service which alerts me of good deals.
I still have a long way to refining the actual product, but trying to fit the development around work commitments. AI helps obviously, and does 90% of the coding.
- haaz 19d agoBrilliant brilliant idea
- 23fdsf 18d agoIt is but isn't it bizarre that this is what was sold to us re. 'Agents'? Yet here we are. This 'agents' paradigm is foolish and what that poster is doing is closer to reality. Good work.
- ahallan 18d agoThanks for the feedback. It's far from ready yet but this feedback has given me some impetus to refine the end product.
- sensecall 19d agoThis is a great idea. I'd love some way to have multiple schools (which may not have exactly aligned term dates). Also - and I'm sure you've considered it - but maybe something which allows for a day or 2 at the start or end of the holiday. I've found this drastically affects prices.
- ahallan 19d agoHi, thanks for the feedback. Yes considering / implemented both of those, but will likely put it behind a paid service (need to pay for it somehow).
- yzydserd 18d agoI find the underlining of the period in "school holidays." very jarring.
- ahallan 14d agoDecided to remove the 'full-stops'
- beavis000 17d agoJust curious - what makes something qualify as a "good deal"? or do you list prices for all common destinations?
