To me it's evident that consciousness doesn't end with the death of the physical body.
It's foolish to think that in this fractal, endlessly repeating Universe that's billions of years old and unfathomably vast - you only live as tiny organism, not even a small cell, for the blink of an eye.

- N_Lens 14d agoI think the question answers itself given my position (Which is not the popular position). Scientific materialism is the default position nowadays, and that worldview naturally gives rise to a disposable & profane way of life (Everything OP is complaining about).
