Been contributing for years. I do lots of long bicycle tours through foreign countries into under-travelled places where map updates aren’t prioritized. My most significant edits are almost entirely due to land slides taking out roads that none of the mapping software on my phone is aware of (google, apple, osm based). Very satisfying to chop a chunk out of a highway and draw the dirt road detour that’s been built and to see it on Strava a few days later.
