Yes, this is insightful, thanks for sharing. It would be some considerable effort for a buy side analyst to "analyze" a sell side analyst and get the gist of what they were really saying. I think relationships have a lot to do with why this happens. I was hoping to attract more independent analysts to the platform whose incentives are aligned with the individual investors/retail investors who would subscribe to them. I was hoping that the quality of their research would be higher, but this remains to be seen.
