Tangential, but I have no idea who is eating at Arby’s. The food looks positively vile from the advertisements.

    No. It wasn’t ever good. Tried it in the early eighties. It was barely dog food back then too.

  The food is pretty vile. Friends that worked their described the "beef" as being a weird loaf of pressurized mewt-like protein before its sliced. I used to eat there occasionally because it was cheapish many, many years ago.

Arby's is extremely open that their roast beef is deli meat roast beef. It's no different from what you find at the deli counter in your local krogers. Have you or your friend never seen deli meat before?

      Yes, I have seen deli meat. The friend that told me about arby's loaf has also worked in delis. Have you never seen a company lie about something?

  Never having eaten there, I thought to myself, it can't be that bad. Then I went to their website and looked at it. Good lord.

  They sell a fast food priced sandwich that is a pound of deli meat and a glob of cheese sauce. It's meat and cheese. How is anyone ever confused by this? Are you confused people eat taco bell? Are you confused by a cheese steak sandwich?

    Taco Bell at least looks appetizing in their commercials. Arby's doesn't. It looks weird and gross.
