Fewer people would create scientific or artistic works if they could just be copied or used without protection either; or so is the premise behind copyright and intellectual property; even being deeply embedded into the US Constitution (Art 1, Sec 8, Clause 8).
There is sooo much irony here.
- hn993302 13d agoI agree. Some existing licenses don't seem compatible with AI training. If they don't go back to rectify that, at the very least you should be able to license your work in a way that explicitly prohibits AI training. They can pay if they want to use it.
