I have a list of contra-indicators, which are indicators that I use to probabilistically look for interesting industries that are about to change a lot/see a lot of disruption/have various competitors who are about to head downhill. Making fun of your competitors or suing them into the ground to show your own superiority is indicator #7. If you have to talk to explain your walk then you will soon be mocked. MSFT is doing that with it's Google attack ads. AAPL is doing that with its various Samsung lawsuits and general adolescent behaviour.
