I feel like the basis of this post is that in the current state of software development, SaaS alone holds very limited power.

- danvoell 13d agoNo, they are not in trouble yet. I'm not saying SaaS is dead. The article, to me, reads as, if you are in SaaS, you better be looking at ways to build power above and beyond a simple service, be it a network moat, corporate compliance, competing with the vertical....
- shimman 12d agoOracle has a BBB- credit rating (one step above junk bonds), so maybe yeah.

- jayanmn 12d agoIn India we have company that enable gig workers - maids, drivers, beauticians, fixing aircons etc. Company charges so much that people try to cut way from the aggregator. Instead a fixed number and vision to reduce that further would these companies much bigger.
