- MiroslavPokorny 13d agoTerrible story, absolutely no narrative of what was fixed or which new features were added etc.
- LargoLasskhyfv 13d agoThat's 'Moronix' for you, and always has been :-) Though it got somewhat better in the last years, for some things.
- f30e3dfed1c9 12d agoAll you have to do is follow the link at the end of the article. A prerequisite, I guess, is that you actually read that far.
- MiroslavPokorny 12d agoIMHO the point of posting a story such this is to add some value on top of simply a link. By value i mean make personal comments or share history or extras that are not found in the link itself. Posting stats as the story provides is lazy, as my original post mentions myself for starters want to know something personal and not simply how many commits happened or the new version number.
- f30e3dfed1c9 11d agoPart of what phoronix does is simple news aggregation. Ain't nothing wrong with that, it's useful. Another, bigger, part of what they do is pretty in-depth testing of hardware and operating systems. Also useful. Nothing is all things to all people on every topic.
- MiroslavPokorny 10d agoCall it what you like, that doesnt change the value for me. Its boring and lazy and worthless. Nobody learnt anything by reading stuff like X commits and Y this or that.
