Still on a 13 mini for the same reason. The closed Duo is closer to a regular Pro than to a mini, so it doesn't actually replace the small phone — it replaces the "I also carry an iPad mini" phone.
Apple killed the one size I wanted and then shipped a $2,000 fold. I get why the fold exists. I just wish the mini line hadn't had to die for it.
- harrouet 24d agoOn the same boat and totally agree with the analysis: replaces the iPad Mini, not the iPhone Mini. I pulled out my passport and held it in my hand like a phone: it is not possible to hold it AND use the thumb on the screen. Look at the marketing videos: in all the one-handed-operation scenes, the phone lies on flat fingers for the thumb to access the screen. Will fall eventually.
