I get it, the big brands etc aren't very palatable. And some things get lost with no way to purchase because the companies don't care. But for things that are readily available I find it just as easy to buy if for a few bucks on ebay / local library sale / etc.

- OroPla 14d agoAs far as supporting creators (or rather rights holders) goes, whether you pirate, buy a used copy or use a library makes absolutely no difference.
- upboundspiral 14d agoVery true. It's more of a personal choice based on my own values for myself: If I buy secondhand, I still provide value to someone (the used books store, etc). There is an "equivalent exchange".
